- Engineering News-Record (ENR)
A weekly magazine that provides construction news, analysis, and data. It’s widely regarded in the construction industry. Most famously, ENR conducts an annual survey of general contractors, engineers, architects, and construction program managers and if qualified, you’re ranked on its exclusive ENR Top Contractors list.
2. Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA)
CFMA is an association for construction financial managers. As a member, you gain access to webinars that will earn you CPE credits, you join a cost-savings program, and you can join peer groups to share insights and ideas with fellow construction financial managers.
3. Associated General Contractors of America (AGC)
AGC represents more than 6,500 of America’s leading general contractors. The association has advocated for the industry’s interests since 1918 and is known to help its members find new projects. You can join your local AGC chapter to benefit from the networking, discounts, and education programs.
4. Construction Dive
A daily email newsletter that covers commercial building, design, and regulations. Construction Dive gives insight into the most impactful news and trends shaping the construction industry and is operated by Industry Dive.
5. Construction Business Owner
Construction Business Owner is a magazine published to help owners and managers of construction companies run successful businesses. In its pages, you’ll find business management advice and resources on accounting, finance, and technology.
6. Building Design + Construction (BD+C)
Building Design + Construction serves the entire design and construction process for the commercial buildings industry. For more than 60 years, BD+C has been a champion of innovation and technology focused on commercial, institutional, industrial, and multifamily buildings – and the professionals that design and build them: architects, engineers, contractors, and owners/developers.
7. GCPay Blog
Join hundreds of general contractors who get updates from the GCPay Blog every month. This construction-focused blog keeps up with topics on technology, application for payment best practices, system functionality, and key industry trends.

Construction Executive is the magazine for the business of construction. It reaches more than 150,000+ contractors and construction-related business owners. This publication was launched by Associated Builders and Contractors in 2003 and is a great source for news, market developments, and business issues impacting construction.
10. Federal Construction Contracting Blog by Cohen Seglias
Cohen Seglias is a construction-focused law firm. They’re committed to building success in all aspects of their practice. The Cohen Seglias blog keeps up with current events that impact general contractors.
11. For Construction Pros
ForConstructionPros is a contractor’s full-business resource. The website includes information on today’s news, innovative construction equipment, and business management. ForConstructionPros goal is to help construction contractors turn better profits.
12. ConTechCrew Podcast
The ConTechCrew is a rapidly growing weekly podcast exploring topics associated with construction technology. Discussing innovation and all things construction tech including hardware, software, devices, apps and the strategies for applying them on construction projects.
13. Association for Builders and Contractors (ABC)
The Association for Builders and Contractors is a national construction industry trade association representing more than 22,000 members. ABC’s membership represents all specialties within the U.S. construction industry and is comprised primarily of firms that perform work in the industrial and commercial sectors of the industry.
